DIY (Do It Yourself) Makerspace


The EHK-12 Makerspace is an open lab where you can plan and create fantastic object of your own design.  


  • Location:  EHK-12 Portable 93
  • Hours:  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays from Noon-3 p.m.


Everyone is welcome!
For safety, students under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.


On Mondays and Tuesdays you also have the option of a drop-in Do-It-Yourself project
session. 
Here is the schedule of the optional DIY activities through December 2019.
Monday and Tuesday, 9/16 and 17 Decorate a Notebook -- bring photos if you’d like
Monday and Tuesday 9/23 and 24  Create a pencil holder using magazines and cans
Monday and Tuesday  9/30 and 10/1 Tissue Paper Flowers in Fall colors
Monday and Tuesday 10/7 and 8  Drawing Class--come hang out and draw
Monday and Tuesday 10/14 and 15  Design a house or neighborhood 
Monday and Tuesday 10/21 and 22 Mask Design
Monday and Tuesday 10/28 and 29 Cape Making
Monday and Tuesday 11/4 and 5  Scarecrows
Monday and Tuesday 11/11 and 11/12-- No School
Monday and Tuesday 11/18 and 19 Centerpiece or Candle holder Design
Monday and Tuesday 11/25 and 26 Pinecone Turkeys (of course!)
Monday and Tuesday 12/2 and 3  Jewelry Making
Monday and Tuesday 12/9 and 10 Ornament Making
Monday and Tuesday 12/16 and 17 Duct Tape Wallets


The Makerspace is supervised by Britta Hooper, EHK-12 Curriculum Specialist
